The goal of Life Learners is to guide students toward discovering what motivates and inspires them and to guide parents in facilitating this new learning process. Consultations help families develop their own learning philosophies and individualized lesson plans, as well as supporting the legal and social transition into homeschooling.

Ayla was homeschooled from age 6 to 14. She received her degree in Psychology from Stanford University with an emphasis in learning and education, and has worked as a tutor and mentor since 1999. She is currently an educational consultant for families seeking alternatives to conventional schooling. Ayla is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is open to consult for families nationwide.
